DESCRIPTION
The Church of Santa Maria della Pieve, dating back to 1008, has a Romanesque style façade, consisting of three overlapping rows of loggias. Inside the church, there are three naves on arches supported by columns with Corinthian capitals. There is also the polyptych by Pietro Lorenzetti depicting the Virgin Mary with Child and the Saints, John the Evangelist, Donatus, John the Baptist and Matthew.
