DESCRIPTION

The Church of San Domenico is one of the most renowned religious buildings in Arezzo due to the wooden Crucifix painted by Cimabue inside it. Its construction began in 1275 and it has an unfinished, asymmetric, masonry façade with a belfry.  Inside the church, there is a single nave with a trussed roof, lit up by numerous windows and decorated with 14th century frescoes.
