The Val di Chiana or Valdichiana, formerly the Valle del Clanis, is a valley of alluvial origin, rich in thermal springs, vineyards, hamlets that extends between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena in the municipalities of Arezzo, Bucine, Castiglion Fiorentino, Civitella in Val di Chiana, Cortona, Foiano della Chiana, Lucignano, Marciano della Chiana and Monte San Savino.
