DESCRIPTION
The Teatro del Popolo in Castelfiorentino has a horseshoe-shaped layout, stalls and three rows of boxes. It was built according to a design by the engineer Gaetano Niccoli and inaugurated in 1867. Over the years, it underwent various renovations and today it contains 348 seats between stalls, boxes and gallery. Furthermore, a passageway runs from the theatre and can also be used as an exhibition gallery, communicating with the “Foyer” with 148 seats.
