DESCRIPTION
The Florence Santa Maria Novella Railway Station, located in the city centre, is considered one of the masterpieces of Italian rationalism, created by Giovanni Michelucci. It has 16 railway tracks, a large concourse with a glass and steel roof that extends for 160 metres and an adjacent shopping arcade.
