Porto Santo Stefano is a well-known tourist destination of great seafaring tradition on the Argentario coast. It is an active trade centre, fishing port and beach resort that overlooks a bay watched over by the Spanish Fort. Its more picturesque historic building include the Convent of the Passionist Fathers and the Argentiera Tower.
