DESCRIPTION
Pontremoli, one of the most distinctive little towns in the Lunigiana area, is located in the upper valley of the Magra river. The Castle of Piagnaro, dating back to the 10th century, is the most ancient building in the village. Among the monuments in the historical centre, there are: the Cathedral, the Church of Santissima Annunziata, and the Great Bell Tower.
