The Palazzo degli Anziani (The palace of the elderly), also known as Palazzo Giano is the Town Hall of Pistoia, and it is located in Piazza del Duomo. Built between the 13th and 14th centuries, it displays the coats of arms of the Medici family on the facade. Still present is the passage bridge that connected the building with the adjacent church. Today it is the seat of the Town Hall and it also houses the Civic Museum with paintings on wood and canvas, sculptures and objects from the 14th century.
