DESCRIPTION
Fivizzano is located 326m above sea level, on the southwestern slopes of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines in the Lunigiana territory. It was the place where Jacopo da Fivizzano opened one of the first printing works in the whole of Italy, in which the first ever typewriter was invented and used. The ancient walls embrace evocative historical buildings such as: the Church of Saints Jacopo and Antonio (St. Jacob and St. Anthony), the Castle of Verrucola, Piazza Medicea.
