DESCRIPTION
Medieval village in the heart of Garfagnana, about 40 km from Lucca. The historic center features the cathedral, named after Saints Peter and Paul and built in 1500 on the ruins of an 11th-century Romanesque church. Not far from the center is the Mont’Alfonso Fortress, built in the late 1500s and now restored, with an 1150-meter wall.
