DESCRIPTION
A city of Etruscan origins, Arezzo is famous for its most well-known event, the Giostra del Saracino, a historical re-enactment of a Medieval joust. Amoung its greatest monuments, as well as Piazza Grande, is the Cathedral, the Basilica of San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca, Palazzo dei Priori and Casa Vasari.
