DESCRIPTION
The official Carrara Academy dates back to 1769, under the guidance of Maria Teresa Cybo-Malaspina, Duchess of Massa and Princess of Carrara. The academy, located inside Palazzo Cybo-Malaspina, includes the Academy Library, the hall of the nobles where there is the most complete existing national marble gallery, an art gallery and a plaster cast gallery.
