The five-episode docuseries <em>Tucci in Italy<\/em> is produced by the actor&#8217;s own production company, SALT Productions, with Specialist Factual Productions of BBC Studios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series premieres May 21st at 8pm on National Geographic and all episodes stream from May 19th on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.disney.it\/\">Disney+<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"New Series | Tucci in Italy | National Geographic UK\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DSRuo2D8wfU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Location<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The series was shot partly in Tuscany between May and July 2024. The set was interesting for the quarries of Colonnata in <strong>Carrara<\/strong> and <strong>Siena<\/strong>: here Tucci took part in the dinner of the General Test of the Palio on 2 July, in the district of Valdimontone. In <strong>Florence<\/strong> filming took place in the streets of downtown and at Cibreo restaurant by Giulio Picchi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The episode shot in Tuscany<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Tucci revels in the artistry of the food in this picturesque region. The spirit of culinary creativity is alive in the birthplace of the Renaissance. In Florence, where he spent a memorable year of his youth, he samples a famous, and unexpected, breakfast dish.
