toscanafilmcommission.it is the official portal of “Toscana Film Commission” (hereafter also “TFC”), a department of Fondazione Sistema Toscana that offers free personalised assistance to all productions interested in filming in Tuscany, tailored to the creative, organisational and logistical needs of each type of project.
The services provided range from advice on permits and general information on filming procedures and regulations in Tuscany, to more specific assistance in the search for locations, professionals and local businesses, information on funding and calls to tender.
toscanafilmcommission.it was created and is managed by the Fondazione Sistema Toscana (hereafter also “FST”), a legally recognized private entity operating as an in-house providing of the Region of Tuscany, an instrument for the implementation of the following regional institutional purposes:
a) development of digital communication for the valorization and promotion of cultural heritage and activities, research and innovation, information society and knowledge;
b) promotion of the integration between cultural offerings and tourism offerings;
c) promotion and diffusion of film and audiovisuals and educational initiatives;
d) film commission activities;
e) promotion and valorization of Tuscan identity and development of youthful policies and rights.

Legal basis for the data processing
Legal basis of the data processing is the Regional Law 61/2024, the data are processed for the performance of tasks carried out in the public interests or in the exercise of Region of Tuscany official authority.
Providing the data is optional, and users may also request the deletion of their data. However, failure to provide the data may result in the inability to access certain services.
In particular, through the creation of their own account on toscanafilmcommission.it operators/users of legal age belonging to one of the categories indicated (professionals or companies in the audiovisual sector and location ownership/referent) provide FST with their common personal identification data (name and surname, e-mail, telephone number, residence, domicile, vocational training, CV) and identification data of the activity (company name, name and surname of legal representative, address, VAT number, telephone number, e-mail, website, CV).

In compliance with community law (European Regulation for the protection of personal data 2016/679, Art. 28, par. 3), organizations who process personal data on behalf of Data Controller or Data Processor have been appointed as Data (Sub-)Processors, to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Regulation.
Content
toscanafilmcommission.it brings together texts and multimedia (texts, images, sounds, video clips, graphics, logos, audiovisuals, etc., henceforth known as “content”) for aforementioned purposes.
The content is produced by:
- Staff at Fondazione Sistema Toscana (FST)
- Registered/subscribed users of toscanafilmcommission.it (professionals or companies in the audiovisual sector and location ownership/referent), in accordance with this policy.
- Third parties (photographers, videomakers, bloggers, etc.), who grant Region of Tuscany or Fondazione Sistema Toscana permissions for the use of their own textual and multimedia content.
All content providers, participating in initiatives, projects, databases, funding programmes or calls to tender of Toscana Film Commission, expressly accept the following legal conditions:
