The film was shot in Monticchiello and in Val d’Orcia last year
Made in Italy, directed by James Darcy, is a romantic comedy on family memories. It was shot in Tuscany, near Siena. The film tells the story of the London artist Robert (Liam Neeson) who returns to Italy with his son Jack (Micheal Richardson) to sell the house they inherited from his late wife and mother. Neither expects to find the once beautiful villa in such a state of disrepair. The renovations go wrong and father and son find themselves at odds, but not for the first time.
The film, released in American theaters last August, is now on Amazon Prime Video.
