DESCRIPTION
The municipality of Vinci is located about fifty kilometres from Florence. it extends along the foot of the Caste of Conti Guidi family and is also visible from a distance. Vinci is te village in which Leonardo was born. In fact, the Leonardo Library is located here, as well as the international centre of studies on Leonardo and the municipal Leonardo Museum in Vinci, a large and prestigious collection of models of Leonardo’s inventions. A few kilometres from the village of Vinci, in a landscape almost unchanged since Renaissance times, there is the house where Leonardo was born.
