The romantic comedy is based on the novels by Felicia Kingsley
Amazon Prime Video has announced that No place to be single, a romantic comedy directed by Laura Chiossone, will be available on the platform starting May 8, 2026. The film, based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Felicia Kingsley, published in Italy by Newton Compton Editori, is written by Alessandra Martellini, Giulia Magda Martinez, and Matteo Visconti, and co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios with Italian International Film – Lucisano Media Group.
Filming took place in late 2024 in Tuscany, in the village of Montalcino (Siena), especially in Sant’Angelo in Colle.

Synopsis
The film tells the story of Elisa (Matilde Gioli), a single mother who works as the manager of the “Le Giuggiole” estate in the idyllic village of Belvedere in Chianti. Here, all the women who live there are married or, at the very least, searching for the perfect man to marry – all except Elisa. When a childhood friend of hers, Michele (Cristiano Caccamo), whom she hasn’t seen in several years, returns to the village, something in Elisa’s life changes, reawakening feelings in her that had long been dormant but never truly faded.
