Laghat – An Impossible Dream (“Laghat – Un sogno impossibile”) is an Italian biographical drama film directed by Michael Zampino, based on the true story of the racehorse Laghat, who became blind in one eye but continued to compete and win. Filming took place in 2024, with the support of the Regione Toscana, for two weeks at the San Rossore racecourse near Pisa.
The film was selected for the 2026 Los Angeles Film Festival (Los Angeles Italia), featuring in the “Italian Cinema Today” program. The premiere will be held on Friday, March 13, at the famous TLC Chinese Theatre.
