The movie has been officially invited to the festival’s Special Screening section at the 24th edition of the Florence Korea Film Fest, taking place in Florence, from March 19 to 28, 2026. A fitting homecoming for a story set and shot in the city. Filming took place in 2025. The set involved the historic center of Florence.

A road movie at heart, Florence Knockin’ On You follows Seok-in as he returns to the city that once fueled his youthful passion, finding reunion and healing along the way. The film opened in Korea on January 7.
Director & cast
Director Lee Chang-yeol, whose hit film “A Song for My Dear” won 56 awards, is on his fourth feature film. Cast stars Kim Min-jong and Ye Ji-won. Turkish screen icon Serra Yilmaz, who also works in Italy, makes a special appearance, adding extra gravitas
