DESCRIPTION
Lake Porta is a nature area protected by the Region of Toscana, which covers an area of 82 hectares and is located in the municipality of Montignoso. Considered the northernmost coastal wetland in Tuscany, it became a protected area in 1988 in order to preserve the numerous species of local fauna and flora present within it.
