DESCRIPTION
Villa La Petraia, dating back to the 13th century is situated on the hills of Florence. Surrounded by an Italian-style garden that is spread over three terraced levels, it still has its evocative internal courtyard with a glass and iron roof and a majestic dance hall with frescoes by Cosimo Gaddi and Il Volterrano. The Villa is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List of Cultural and Natural Property.
