Located between Val di Pesa and Val d’Elsa, Tavarnelle Val di Pesa is a medieval village tucked away in the Chianti hills. There are numerous churches located in the historical town centre, like the ancient Badia di Passignano monastery and the Gothic churches like that of San Biagio, Santa Lucia al Borghetto and Madonna della Neve.
