DESCRIPTION
Piazza della Santissima Annunziata is dominated by the Basilica of the same name. It is porticoed on three sides and in the centre of the square there is an equestrian monument to Ferdinando I de’ Medici by Giambologna and Pietro Tacca. Among the historical buildings overlooking the square: Palazzo Budini Gattai and the Ospedale degli Innocenti.
