DESCRIPTION
Montagna Pistoiese covers a vast area to the north and north-west of Pistoia. Crossed by a number of rivers, the area covers 53,767 hectares and has a mountainous landscape, characterised by woods with low scrub and vast forests of tall trees. The highest peak is the Corno alle scale (1,945m above sea level).
