DESCRIPTION
This is Tuscany’s main airport and was built in 1911. It is located in the San Giusto area and is about 4 km from the centre of Pisa. The airport has two terminals and two large runways (2,736 metres long and 45 metres wide) that can be used by aircraft of any size, for both passenger and cargo transportation.
